Students worked on the issue of location information privacy.
Students worked on the issue of location information privacy. Their client, the Center for Democracy and Technology, is interested in strong, technology-neutral, privacy rules. They engaged in extensive research on both the regulatory and technical issues involved in wireless communication services and products and worked with the client to identify the most effective means to achieve their goal. The students filed comments in a Federal Communications Commission proceeding in support of a separate rulemaking on location information privacy. The students also reviewed legislation and prepared memoranda including legislative language, background information, and analysis, for their client.
