Every year in March, we host a series of special admitted student events to give you the chance to connect with and hear from our faculty, staff, current students, and alumni on topics you care about, ranging from academics to life in Berkeley to professional development. Sit back, listen in, and ask all your questions!

Sessions include mock classes with Berkeley Law professors, practice area information sessions, an introduction to your professional development resources, student meet and greets, and more.

While you wait for an admitted student event, take a look at our Youtube channel to start getting a feel of what it’s like to be at Berkeley Law. We’ve picked a few of our favorite videos below for you to start with:

Made almost entirely from clips created by newly admitted and current students, last year’s Admit Week Experience video celebrates the inspirations, challenges, and aspirations of the unabashedly authentic individuals who will make up the JD Class of 2024 and embody the excellence, community, and public mission that makes Berkeley Law… Berkeley Law. Watch this video to get a better sense of the kind of culture and community you will be joining as an LL.M. student.

It’s an interesting time in the U.S. legal system, especially within the Supreme Court. Join Dean Erwin Chemerinsky as he reviews recent Supreme Court rulings and analyzes their implications and the precedences that they set moving forward.

Join Berkeley Judicial Institute, Magistrate Judge Allison Claire and Magistrate Judge Mustafa Kasubhai as we consider how courts should strive for more inclusive language, and why that effort matters (both to those coming before the court, and for the court’s integrity) that courts make that effort.
