This will be an interdisciplinary seminar on intellectual property scholarship, with students reading and commenting (in writing and in discussion) on new and forthcoming articles by scholars here at Berkeley and elsewhere. The subject matter invites economic analysis, and some of the papers will have substantial economics content. The regular class time might occasionally be altered to accommodate invited speakers.
The course requirement is to comment on several of the presented papers, and to serve as a discussant on at least one.
