Course Start: January 07, 2013
This course is a continuation of the Fall 2012 Introduction to Legal Scholarship Seminar. The spring semester will focus on the drafting and revision of a full-length piece of legal scholarship. Students will participate in two series of workshops in which each class member will present his or her paper (twice): first in draft, and then in a revised and refined version. During the second series of workshops each student will also be assigned as a commentator to respond to another student's paper. During this semester we will also continue our discussions about preparing for and entering legal academia, and students will be connected with faculty members who share their substantive or methodological interests.
All students should contact Professor Abrams (firstname.lastname@example.org) to obtain the course control number.
Students must have completed the first semester of Introduction to Legal Scholarship. In exceptional cases, students who already have a draft of a paper ready (from another course, for example) may join Intro to Legal Scholarship II without having taken Intro to Legal Scholarship I, WITH PERMISSION OF THE INSTRUCTOR.
This course may satisfy the Writing Requirement.
If you are the instructor or their FSU, you may add a file like a syllabus or a first assignment to this page.
