A new working paper from our International Human Rights Law Clinic, in support of a city truth commission aimed at creating new paths to justice for marginalized groups, details a history of anti-Black police violence in San Francisco. Led by Co-Director Roxanna Altholz and written by clinic students, the paper probes how suspect legal standards, biased institutions, and the city’s police culture deter lasting change.
