Professor Sonia Katyal has been named to the annual Women in AI Ethics’ “100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics” list. The recipients were hailed for making impactful contributions to crafting a responsible and diverse future for artificial intelligence. Katyal’s award-winning work includes a recent paper on how the dynamic between AI and gender is highly complex and has a strong effect on LGBTQ+ communities.
