This Seminar is the classroom component for the Education Policy Research Action Practicum. Please see that course description, Law 220A.2 sec. 1. Students will learn the substantive and institutional context of the education policy problems that will be the focus of the practicum, including relevant law, research, and policy battles. The seminar will also be a forum to workshop the specific student projects and deliverables.

Attendance at each seminar session and full participation in the practicum portion is mandatory to receive credit for this seminar.


Attendance at the first class is mandatory for all currently enrolled and waitlisted students; any currently enrolled or waitlisted students who are not present on the first day of class (without prior permission of the instructor) will be dropped. The instructor will continue to take attendance throughout the add/drop period and anyone who moves off the waitlist into the class must continue to attend or have prior permission of the instructor in order not to be dropped.
