Lunchtime Seminar: Australian Climate Litigation

Thursday, July 27, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The Center for Law, Energy & the Environment (CLEE) is thrilled to host physicist, astronomer, and former Chief Scientist for Australia, Professor Penny Sackett, this Thursday, July 27th from 12:00 – 1:00 pm for a lunchtime seminar. Professor Sackett has a strong background in research, policy advice to national and local governments, and the synthesis and communication of climate science and its relationship to energy systems. Much of her current work is devoted to providing expert reports to courts and consent authorities on the climate impacts of new or continued fossil fuel developments.
