[CDO] Your 1L Private Sector Summer Job Search

Every year, Berkeley Law students land exciting 1L summer legal internships at private law firms and with in-house legal departments of private companies that help prepare them for legal practice. But what types of private sector employers offer 1L summer internships and how should students approach a private sector job search during their first year of law school?
During this program–which is important for any student interested in pursuing a 1L internship in the private sector to attend–CDO Attorney-Counselors will cover the timeline, the application process, and the strategies we can develop together to help you successfully navigate your first legal job search.
Lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Please RSVP here to let us know you’ll be attending.
