Careers in Legal Academia

Thursday, October 12, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Please join Professors Gelbach, Campos-Bui, Baker, and Shachar in Room 105 for a panel discussion on how the entry-level law professor market works. They will discuss the credentials that law schools frequently look for beyond just the JD (or other degree), as well as the mechanics of applying for teaching positions. This information session is intended to help those interested in a career in legal academia think about how to spend their time at Berkeley Law and thereafter. Current and former JD students, as well as students in other degree programs, will find this session helpful. The panel will reserve substantial time for Q&A. This event will be recorded for those who are unable to attend.
