Q: Will masks be required at Reunion?

A: As of 9/13/21: Per the City of Berkeley’s health order, masks are required indoors for all guests at events at UC Berkeley. Exemptions include:

  1. Persons who are actively eating and/or drinking;
  2. Persons with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents wearing a mask. This includes persons with a medical condition for whom wearing a mask could obstruct breathing or who are unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove a mask without assistance;
  3. Persons who are hearing impaired, or communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication; 
  4. Other exemptions apply. Refer to the policy for full details.

Q: Will social distancing be required?

A: As of 9/13/21: Social distancing is only required indoors for unvaccinated individuals when they are eating or drinking without a mask on. 

Q: Will there be a vaccine requirement at Reunion?

A: As of 9/13/21: Per the City of Berkeley’s health order, proof of vaccination is required to enter all indoor dining locations. Please bring one of the following valid proofs of vaccination to every event:

  1. Vaccination Card issued by the CDC or a foreign governmental jurisdiction which includes the name of the person vaccinated, the type of vaccine provided, and the date(s) the dose or doses were administered; or
  2. A photo or copy of a Vaccination Card either as a hardcopy or stored on a phone or electronic device; or
  3. Documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider; or
  4. A personal digital COVID-19 vaccine record issued by the State of California and available by going to https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/ or similar documentation issued by another state, local, or foreign governmental jurisdiction; or Health, Housing & Community Services Department Public Health Officer; or
  5. An authentic digital record that includes a QR code that when scanned by a SMART Health Card reader accurately displays to the reader client name, date of birth, vaccine dates and vaccine type.

Q: Will there be symptom or temperature screening at Reunion?

A: As of 9/13/21: No symptom screening will take place at Reunion.

Q: What is the cancellation policy for Reunion?

A: As of 9/13/21: Full refunds will be issued if initiated by Friday, September 17. No refunds will be issued after this date.
