The course will cover the relationships between the parties involved in the design and construction process; the key provisions to be included in construction and design contracts, the allocation of responsibilities for the timely completion of the project in accordance with the design intent, the obligations and protections for subcontractors and suppliers; and the means of resolving disputes between the parties involved in the construction process. The course includes a site visit to observe the practical application of these legal concepts.
