For individuals, data breaches can lead to cases of identity theft that will imperil an individual’s financial well-being. Among the topics of the class covered in this course will be data breach notification laws; cybersecurity litigation; cybersecurity and corporate governance; anti-hacking laws; international cybersecurity law; and homeland security issues.
