"The future belongs to those people who prepare for it today." A good lawyer is always prepared, and legal practice in the early years requires skills beyond researching, writing and having good substantive knowledge of the law. Legal practice requires having a toolbox of practical, intellectual, emotional and social skills. This course focuses on the skills that make the difference between an average junior attorney and the cut above, preparing you to advance more quickly and maintain a rewarding career.

Bridging the gap between law school and legal practice, this course focuses on the actual legal and administrative tasks undertaken by junior attorneys in their early practice years. Even though the course focuses on litigation at law firms, it will also present the perspective of transactional practice groups, public and government sectors, solo practitioners, clients, and professional development individuals.

This course satisfies the Skills Requirement.
