On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, Judge Thelton E. Henderson (Berkeley Law, Class of 1962) provided pre-recorded remarks for the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division’s celebration of its 65th anniversary. The celebration focused on the work of the Division over its 65-year history and featured former Assistant Attorneys General for Civil Rights, current staff, and alumni of the Civil Rights Division. Judge Henderson spoke about his experiences as the first Black attorney in the Division in the early 1960s.
