A: One of the things we try to do around here is document student life — the good, the bad and the unprintable. Boalt Hall holiday carols are some of the fun stuff. How about one to the tune of O Come, All Ye Faithful that goes: “O come all ye students, innocent and trusting.”
O come all ye students, innocent and trusting,
O come ye, O come ye to Old Boalt Hall;
The Law there awaits ye, sneaky and disgusting;
Do you think you can win through?
What nuthouse have you been to?
Do you know what we’ve been through
For three damn years?
O come all ye students, ignorant and lazy,
O come ye, O come ye to Old Boalt Hall;
The Law there awaits ye, puzzling and hazy:
Do you think you can make it?
Are you guys who can take it?
Or are you going to fake it
For three damn years?
O come all ye students, to [insert favorite bar] we are going,
O come ye, O come ye, to drink with us;
Beer there awaits ye, get it while it’s flowing;
O come let us go drinking,
Let’s all get really stinking,
Let’s give up legal thinking
Until the New Year.
