Pro Bono Leadership. This course is provided to the 2L and 3L student leaders of the Berkeley Law Student Initiated Legal Services Projects (SLPS). The course will provide law students with an opportunity to: (1) explore the theory and the practical aspects of leadership critical in the legal profession; (2) learn about their own strengths and challenges as current law student leaders and future legal profession leaders ; (3) develop working relationships and knowledge about the SLPS projects, the issues they are facing and how to strengthen their projects; and (4) meet with leaders of community legal services/public service projects to discuss and analyze the sources of their successful leadership.

Limited enrollment: This course is limited to leaders of public interest student organizations, including (but not limited to) leaders of SLPS groups, subject matter interest groups, identity groups, and publications.

Course is limited to student leaders of SLPS projects.
