This course will cover the right to free speech which includes freedom of expression and freedom of the press, and the religion clauses, which prohibit governmental establishments of religion and guarantee the free exercise of religion. The Basic Constitutional Law will be helpful, but not required.

It would be helpful for LLM students to have some familiarity with Constitutional Law.
