Fernando Flores is an attorney, high performance coach, entrepreneur, speaker, podcaster, and author. In his current role he is the Founder of iMATER NOW. Fernando established iMATER NOW to foster and promote wellness in the legal profession and he supports and coaches attorneys and professionals in this regard.
Prior to founding iMATER NOW Fernando represented the Labor Commissioner at the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement office, was the Director of the Wage and Hour Litigation Program at Legal Aid at Work, and was a Staff Attorney at Centro Legal de la Raza and the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.
As a trial and appellate attorney for over 11 years he has worked and excelled in very high-stress, fast-paced work environments. He has handled cases in state and federal trial courts, the Court of Appeal, and the California Supreme Court. Fernando has extensive experience representing low-income, immigrant clients in some of the most vulnerable life circumstances, including victims of human trafficking and more recently families seeking asylum at the Dilley Detention Center in Texas.
Fernando is the author of his first e-book titled “The Essential Guide to Passing the California Bar.”
