Fernando Flores is an attorney with the Law Offices of Amy Oppenheimer. He conducts impartial investigations of employment complaints of alleged harassment, discrimination, retaliation, bullying and other workplace misconduct. Fernando also conducts workplace trainings and coaching in English and Spanish.
As a trial and appellate employment law attorney for over 11 years, Fernando handled cases in state and federal trial courts, the Court of Appeal, and the California Supreme Court. Fernando has extensive experience representing low-income, immigrant clients in some of the most vulnerable life circumstances, including victims of human trafficking and more recently families seeking asylum at the Dilley Detention Center in Texas. Fernando also represented hundreds of workers as an attorney for the Labor Commissioner’s office in the hotel, security guard, housekeeping, garment, construction, and janitorial services, among others. Fernando also worked in private practice and non-profits in San Francisco, Oakland, and Los Angeles.
At the beginning of 2018 Fernando launched a business focused on health and wellness called the Health and Wellness University. Fernando is an Occupational Burnout Expert and he has extensive High Performance Coaching experience working with professionals in areas focused on occupational burnout, stress management, and emotional intelligence.
Fernando is also the author of The Essential Guide to Passing the California Bar.
