Boalt’s annual Citation Award Dinner is almost here, and we have a special treat in store for all our guests. For the first time, we are hosting a live auction to benefit the law school’s financial aid program. The live auction portion of the evening can get very exciting! Here are some highlights so you can plan on your potential bids. Organize your family & friends and get ready to raise those paddles!

ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCES!

Meet Pissarro’s People. Take a private tour of the Legion of Honor’s special
Impressionist exhibition with Jim Ganz, Curator at the Fine Arts Museums of San
Francisco. Following your tour, enjoy a “French style” lunch in the Legion’s café.
The exhibition is on view from October 22, 2011 through January 22, 2012. Tour and
lunch are for 10 guests. Special thanks to the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco
and the fabulous McCall’s Catering for this generous donation.

Dine with the Dean. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner with wine for eight with Dean
Christopher Edley and Maria Echaveste at their gracious home in Berkeley. Catering
provided by tal- ented chef Erin McKinney and Grace Street Catering, whose
remarkable cuisine has been featured at events for the San Francisco Ballet,
Symphony and Opera, the Chabot Space and Science Center, the UCSF School of
Medicine, San Francisco, UC Berkeley, Pixar Studios and many more.

Carmel Valley Ranch Experience. Enjoy a two-night stay for two at Carmel Valley
Ranch, a “500 acre playground, a place to sneak away to tap into that elixir of
life-play. All kinds of play, for all kinds of people.” Package includes champagne
and chocolate strawberries upon arrival, dinner for two, two 60-minute massages,
golf for two (including cart), two tickets each to the Monterey Aquarium and the

Spectacular Maui Getaway. Enjoy a magical week on the west side of Maui in this
two-story, Polynesian-style house with wrap-around deck and large lawn
approximately 10 minutes away from prime beaches. This kid-friendly house sleeps 8
to 10 and features four bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer,
wireless internet access, as well as the use of mountain bikes (various sizes),
beach gear and an excellent hammock.

Minimum bid: $3,000.

Explore the Magic of Pixar. Enjoy a special tour of the studio for four guests
(all ages), including an animation demo with the one of their animators, a special
screening of some of Pixar’s upcoming projects, rare voice talent/John Lasseter
signed posters of Cars 2 and Pixar gift bags filled with DVDs, art books, a
movie-themed Hawaiian shirt and Fossil watch and a selection of toys. Lunch in the
Pixar café also is included.

Watch the Bears Beat Utah in Comfort! On October 22, 2011, watch the Cal Bears
take on the Utah Utes from the comfort of the Audi Legends Club at AT&T Park. You
and nine guests (total 10 persons) will Join Dean Edley along with the deans of
the engineering and business schools and their guests in this private setting,
featuring glass doors and windows that open onto a spacious patio with panoramic
views of the ball park. Includes full service catering.

Minimum bid: $2500.

Own a Piece of Boalt. Add your name to the law school’s centennial roster by
“purchasing” one of six Gingko trees located in the West Courtyard next to the
Commons. Each tree will have a plaque recognizing the donor’s contribution for 5
years.
