See the course description for the co-requisite Law 295.5O GRIL Clinic Seminar. In the clinical component of the course, students will be doing hands-on work applying digital technologies to human rights advocacy.
Attendance at the first class is mandatory for all currently enrolled and waitlisted students; any currently enrolled or waitlisted students who are not present on the first day of class (without prior permission of the instructor) will be dropped. The instructor will continue to take attendance throughout the add/drop period and anyone who moves off the waitlist into the class must continue to attend or have prior permission of the instructor in order not to be dropped.

Requirements Satisfaction:
When this Clinic and Seminar are taken in the same semester, they are counted together as satisfying one of the following requirements:
Together, they may satisfy either the Writing Requirement OR the Experiential Requirement, but not both. The Experiential and Writing Requirements cannot be combined. Students who want the clinic/seminar to satisfy Option 2 of the Writing Requirement must obtain instructor approval and complete a paper or series of written work, with drafts, of 30 or more pages.
