Students will learn the key elements of patent strategy, patent prosecution, and the ethical and effective use of AI and AI legal tools in modern patent practice. Students will participate in mock invention disclosures and mock Examiner Interviews. Patent claim analysis, Office Action response strategies, designing around patents, reexaminations, inter partes and post-grant reviews, patent valuation, portfolio strategy, and AI-assisted patent workflows will also be covered.
