Berkeley Law students have online access to a number of study aids through the Law Library’s subscriptions. The study aids are organized by publisher. Within each publisher, you can search for a specific title or simply browse. Scroll down for a link to each publisher and a list of available study aids. You will need your CalNet ID to access these titles.
A word of caution
It is not a good use of your time to browse through every available study aid. Don’t succumb to the fear of missing something! Ask your professors, classmates, and ASP fellow for recommendations. If you find a study aid that you like, stick with it. There is no need to look through all of them.
For an introduction to law school skills, we recommend The Guide to Belonging in Law School by Russel McClain, and Cracking the Case Method by Paul Bergman, Patrick Goodman, and Thomas Holm. Both are available online with your CalNet ID through the Law Library’s subscriptions. The Law Library also has Professor McClain’s book available in hard copy to borrow.
Other study aid sources, including CALI and Quimbee, are also available to Berkeley Law students via library subscriptions, but require registration. The Law Library’s Study Aid Research Guide has detailed information about how to register.
You can access the following study aids with your CalNet ID. They are listed by publisher.
