Mia Akers
Co-Chair
Mia Akers is a 2L at Berkeley Law, originally from Chicago, IL. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015 where she majored in Communications with a certificate in Educational Policy Studies. At Boalt, Mia is a member of the California Law Review, Moot Court, Foster Education Project, and WOCC, in addition to being the Co-President of LSAD.
This past summer, Mia worked as a summer associate at the San Francisco Office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. Mia will return to Morrison & Foerster’s LA and San Francisco offices next summer, with hopes of working as a litigation associate after graduation. She plans to cultivate a pro bono practice focused on education law.
