Civil rights icon Dale Minami ’71 of Minami Tamaki LLP will receive the American Bar Association’s highest honor, the ABA Medal, on Aug. 10. He played a lead role in convincing the Supreme Court that its 1944 ruling deeming constitutional the internment of more than 100,000 Japanese Americans during World War II was unjust and illegal.
