Professor Saira Mohamed Receives UC Berkeley Law Teaching Award

Professor Saira Mohamed won this year’s Rutter Award for Teaching Distinction, which honors UC Berkeley Law faculty who have shown an outstanding commitment to teaching. She taught Criminal Law and International Human Rights last semester, and will teach International Law this fall. An American Society of International Law vice president, Mohamed is regularly published in top law journals and has received awards from the Association of American Law Schools Section on Criminal Justice, the National Institute of Military Justice, and the American Academy in Berlin.
