The latest Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law edition probes several intriguing issues: how the Fourth Amendment applies to search warrants for digital devices, Alabama’s rule allowing non-unanimous juries to issue death sentences, the validity of right-to-counsel waivers in misdemeanor cases, and executive power overreach. Led by Editor-in-Chief Alice Choi (second from right), the journal publishes leading scholarship by professors, judges, research fellows, clerks, and law students nationwide. Next year’s co-editors-in-chief will be current Co-Managing Editors Alexis Bernstein (left) and Lillian Giles (second from left) and Senior Articles Editor Lucas Baker (right).
