Rita Powolot LL.M. ’21 is featured in International Jurist regarding the impact of an LL.M. degree. Working in Germany with automotive supplier Bosch when she enrolled in our executive track program, Powolot sandwiched online study between two summer stints on campus and earned certificates in Business Law and Intellectual Property Law. Bosch transferred her to Chicago soon after. “I believe the LL.M. from Berkeley Law tipped the scales in my favor,” says Powolot, who now leads global commercial and M&A projects. “There are opportunities in the U.S. for foreign-trained lawyers.”
