Jayni Foley Hein ’08 received UC Berkeley Law’s Environmental Leadership Award at the Ecology Law Quarterly annual banquet and spoke with students about her career, the value of public service, and the rewards of taking calculated professional risks. Former executive director of our Center for Law, Energy & the Environment, Hein is of counsel at Covington & Burling, served in the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and has vast experience advising clients on environmental laws and regulations, clean energy initiatives, and other infrastructure projects.
