A new report ranks Berkeley Law first among U.S. public law schools and seventh overall for scholarly impact. The rankings are based on the number of law journal citations to the work of tenured faculty members over the past five years. Berkeley Law moved up from ninth in 2015, the previous time these ratings were updated.
