The East Bay Community Law Center, Alameda County’s largest provider of free legal services, annually trains more than 100 UC Berkeley Law students. Its new annual report shows many ways that students helped gain nearly 3,000 favorable outcomes for clients last year. The center updated its Women of Color Centered Policy Platform and addressed the racial and gender wealth gap, families’ stability and security, and the public social safety net, providing education programs, social work, and legal services for vulnerable community members.
