
Now in its seventh decade, the annual James Patterson McBaine Honors Moot Court Competition — modeled after U.S. Supreme Court practice — is an advanced-level event that hones Berkeley Law students’ advocacy skills as they independently prepare an appellate brief and deliver at least two oral arguments. 3L Maria Milekhina (pictured) recently won this year’s competition with 2L Victoria Shahnazary earning runner-up honors.
