Gov. Gavin Newsom has appointed David A. Carrillo to the California Law Revision Commission, an independent agency that examines California law and recommends reforms. A former prosecutor, Carrillo earned B.A., J.D., LL.M., and J.S.D. degrees at UC Berkeley. He is executive director of Berkeley Law’s California Constitution Center and a lecturer in residence.
