Our Berkeley Center for Law and Business and Berkeley Business Law Journal present practice area workshop lunch programs throughout the school year that allow students to learn about various fields directly from leading lawyers who work in them. The latest event addressed private equity with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and featured Austin Pollet (pictured), a corporate partner at the firm Paul, Weiss who represents private equity firms in all aspects of their businesses. While especially beneficial for 1Ls, these workshops are open to all Berkeley Law students.
