Our Berkeley Judicial Institute (BJI) co-drafted a new report, Blueprint for Judicial Innovation, on judges’ vital role in rebuilding public confidence and modernizing our court systems. Led by Executive Director and former federal judge Jeremy Fogel (pictured), BJI developed the report, with the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System and the State Justice Institute, from a 2024 summit with judicial leaders from 30 jurisdictions. It offers a roadmap for judges to lead sustainable change and ways to help courts become more accessible, equitable, and efficient.
