Berkeley Law was named one of 10 Leading Law Schools for Tax Law by JD Journal, which called its tax program “widely respected for its focus on policy, research, and reform” and said students are trained to engage in meaningful policy analysis and advocacy, navigate complex global tax issues, and “influence tax policy and practice at a national and international level.” Earlier this year Berkeley Law hired Professor Brian Galle (pictured), a renowned tax expert who helped draft major Securities & Exchange Commission rulemaking and was a federal prosecutor on tax-related matters.
