This week, our Berkeley Center for Law and Business and attorneys from its sponsor firms held a virtual BigLaw résumé “polish and pitch” session specifically curated for first-year students. The three-hour, interactive event provided personalized coaching on how to effectively present yourself to firms from working lawyers who provided tailored feedback and advice to students in randomly assigned breakout rooms. The program reflects Berkeley Law’s proactive effort to help students navigate their career path amid firms moving up their hiring process to earlier in the academic year.
