Alumni Bask in a Spirited Celebration After Passing the California Bar Exam

About 70 Berkeley Law alumni who passed the July California Bar Exam were recently honored at the school’s annual Swearing-In Ceremony, attended by over 150 guests. California Court of Appeal Associate Justice Jon Streeter ’81 and U.S. District Court Judge Trina Thompson ’86 spoke and administered the oaths for admission, and Dean Erwin Chemerinsky and Berkeley Law Alumni Association Board President Yury Kapgan ’01 also gave remarks. Berkeley Law graduates posted pass rates of 94% on the California Bar Exam and 98% on the New York Bar Exam. You can see photos from the event.
