Molly Vitorte, PhD, is the Deputy Director of the Human Rights Center, UC Berkeley School of Law. She previously served as Director of Development for Undergraduate Education at UC Berkeley. In that capacity, she raised funds for Berkeley’s undergraduate education initiatives.
Vitorte earned her PhD in Latin American Studies from UC Berkeley in 1999. She then served as the Associate Director of the Center for Latin American Studies at Stanford University. From 2006 to 2012, Vitorte worked with two San Francisco-based national nonprofit organizations: the Hispanic Scholarship Fund as the National Director of Outreach and GreatSchools as the VP of Local Engagement. Vitorte grew up in South America, but has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1991.
