The Program on Jewish Law, Thought, and Identity supports teaching, research, and programming at Berkeley. The Program provides a forum for academic discourse on the history and contemporary relevance of Jewish law and Jewish thought, and on the related construction of Jewish identity. The Program hosts speakers, visiting scholars, and resident fellows; provides support for graduate student research, and supports the teaching of courses on Jewish and comparative law and ethics, modern Jewish thought, and paradigms of Jewish identity.
