Eliza Munger is the Director for GrizzlyCorps, an AmeriCorps service program at the Center for Law, Energy & the Environment (CLEE). GrizzlyCorps sends recent college graduates out to forest and farm communities in California to help build community resilience and respond to climate change. Eliza oversees and coordinates all day-to-day operations for GrizzlyCorps.

Prior to joining CLEE, Eliza worked for Playworks, a youth development nonprofit, where she played a key role in advancing capacity building functions while working with Playworks staff, AmeriCorps members, external partners, donors, and volunteers to create and grow a sustainable and well-organized community-based organization. Eliza has worked in the nonprofit sector for the majority of her career in a range of roles.  From leading trips in the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Olympic National Parks to facilitating service learning trips in Costa Rica, Eliza has dedicated her career to engaging youth and young adults in service, civic action, and the environment. Eliza holds a B.S. in biology from the University of Puget Sound.
