Fourth Annual Symposium on Corporate Law at UC Berkeley

This two-day, multi-panel event will explore the development of corporate law, the evolving relationships between corporate stakeholders, M&A and what corporate lawmaking may look like in the future. With two days full of insightful panels, this event is an excellent way to both network with and learn from some of the best lawyers, professionals, and scholars in a variety of fields.

Conference Highlights:

Thursday, Oct 24 | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Day 1 will feature welcoming remarks from our co-chairs, interviews with keynote speaker Mike Isaac, author of the upcoming book Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber, and panels on hot topics in corporate lawmaking and corporate governance, including comments from the Honorable Leo Strine.

Friday, Oct 25 | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Day 2 will feature panels on corporate purpose, and governance and deal making in the tech sector, including comments from the Honorable Andre Bouchard. The day will conclude with a panel on board gender quotas moderated by University of California President Janet Napolitano.
