DLA Piper and Berkeley Summer Associate Academy

 

 

DLA Piper, in collaboration with the Berkeley Center for Law and Business, is pleased to offer its summer associates access to three online certificate courses from Berkeley Law Executive Education. The certificates from these courses constitutes a certificate of completion issued by Berkeley Law Executive Education and the certificates do not constitute course credit for your J.D. degree. Please note that participation in these certificate courses is voluntary and access is provided as an additional benefit to your summer program. Completion of these certificate courses is not required by DLA Piper. 

Access to each course can be found below. The courses are hosted on bCourses — a Berkeley platform — and each summer associate will be issued a guest account to be able to access bCourses. If you have any issues with your account, or questions about the courses, please contact Abhishek Banerji (abhishek.banerji@berkeley.edu) at the Berkeley Center for Law and Business. 

The courses are available from June 29, 2020 through July 31, 2020. Each course can be completed at your discretion (as all course material is pre-recorded) and we estimate that each course will take 20-25 hours to complete. In order to receive a certificate, you must complete course requirements by 5:00 PM PDT on July 31, 2020.
