Students | BSIP

BSIP brings together a network of companies that hires law students for a full-time paid summer internship. Students will have the unique opportunity to experience in-house legal work. These internships will last for 8-10 weeks.

Students interested in participating in BSIP should prepare a resume and cover letter that describes their interest in working in-house at a company in the Bay Area. Participating students will be randomly assigned a 30-minute interview slot with participating companies. The companies will also receive a copy of all of the resumes and cover letters.

As noted at Orientation and in the 1L Newsletter, NALP guidelines dictate that students must stop applying for jobs and notify employers with whom they have an outstanding job application that they have accepted a position elsewhere. Rescinding an acceptance to “trade up” for what is perceived to be a better opportunity is unprofessional and can have lasting repercussions for a student’s legal career.
