This conference explored international, comparative and interdisciplinary experiences of implementing disability equality laws in respect of post-secondary education. Despite the important presence of people with disabilities in post-secondary education and guarantees of a right to tertiary education under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, this is a topic that has received less focus in existing international research. Our conference explored the contribution of law and policy, the lived experience of students with disabilities, and the role that academics and teachers play in bringing about change.
