Climate Refugees

About the Climate Refugees Working Group

Formed recently in Spring of 2020, the Berkeley Center’s Climate Refugees Working Group is working on bringing together a network of scholars, activists, nonprofits, other people and groups that are working on the issues of migration and displacement as a result of environmental degradation and climate change. We hope to conduct research on the impacts these communities are facing. The Working Group currently has no Director and has put projects on hold until a new one is found. If any member of the Center is interested in leading this group, please contact David Oppenheimer.
