Three Year Report (2023-2026)

Private law shapes some of the most consequential spheres of our lives — the market, the workplace, the neighborhood, and our intimate relationships — through the legal building blocks of property, contract, tort, family law, trust law, and work law. Since our founding in 2023, the Berkeley Center for Private Law Theory has brought together scholars across disciplines to investigate these foundations and their bearing on justice.

Our Three-Year Report looks back at the conferences, colloquia, fellows, and scholarship that have defined our first three years. Click the link below to explore the full report.
