BCLBE Sponsors are essential to the success of the Berkeley Center for Law Business and the Economy (BCLBE). Sponsors provide ongoing support for the wide range of educational and policy projects undertaken by BCLBE. They also provide important seed financing for the BCLBE faculty’s empirical research activities which create the foundation of knowledge enabling BCLBE to link the academic, business and policymaking worlds.
By sustaining BCLBE’s activities, our Sponsors also raise awareness among students and the wider community of our supporters’ roles in the professional and business worlds. Sponsors gain this recognition in a number of ways:
- Sponsors will be identified on the BCLBE website and at BCLBE sponsored events.
- We will draw on our Sponsors (and clients invited by them) to make presentations at our well-attended lunch time speaker series which, with the speaker’s permission, are posted on line.
- Speakers from our Sponsors (and clients invited by them) will be asked to present at BCLBE workshops and conferences.
- Sponsors will receive invitations to attend BCLBE-sponsored, invitation only workshops and roundtables; BCLBE will assist Sponsors in distributing their recruiting materials through student organizations composed of students with a strong interest in a business law practice (transactional, counseling or litigation).
BCLBE Sponsors contribute at least $25,000 annually to support the Berkeley Center for Law, Business and the Economy. If you have any questions about BCLBE or if your firm would like to become a BCLBE Sponsor, please contact BCLBE at BCLBE@law.berkeley.edu or 510-642-0532.
