This seminar will provide a comprehensive overview of the current landscape of intellectual property (IP) protection in China, focusing on patents and trade secrets. Dr. Yuan Hao, director of BCLT’s Asia IP and Competition Law Center, will moderate a conversation with Binxin Li, co-founder of LeanWill, as they examine recent developments in legislation, judicial practice and CNIPA, and industry trends, with particular attention to how evolving policies and landmark cases are reshaping the IP protection environment in China.
This seminar will also explore the shifting priorities of regulators, courts, and market participants in response to innovation and China’s development strategy. Finally, we will discuss the future direction of China’s IP regime and offer practical insights into emerging trends and challenges that are likely to further shape IP protection in the years ahead.
