Tamara Lange

Title: Faculty   -   Lecturer; Alumni   -   Uncategorized
Email Address: tamaralange@gmail.com

Tamara Lange has a private mediation practice and also works as a litigation and public policy consultant. She has been appointed as a mediator and early neutral evaluator for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, as a settlement conference officer for the San Francisco Superior Court, and as a mediator for the Alameda County Superior Court.

Ms. Lange brings to the classroom extensive experience handling complex, high-value, and emotionally charged disputes. As a litigator, she practiced in large and small firms, at the National Center for Youth Law and the ACLU LGBT & AIDS Project, and for Santa Clara County Counsel, where she developed and managed the Impact Litigation & Social Justice Section. She received her J.D. from Berkeley Law in 1995 and clerked for the Hon. Richard A. Paez and the Hon. William A. Fletcher.

Ms. Lange’s teaching is informed by her wide-ranging curiosity, her reiki and meditation practices, and her experience as a parent in what she considers the most humbling of all negotiated relationships.

J.D., UC Berkeley (Boalt Hall)
